Nickname: My teammates call me Baby Jae because my voice reminds them of a little kid.
Pick a number: I wear jersey Nos. 12 and 21 because they are my favorite numbers.
Future college: I’m not sure where I want to attend college yet.
Other than basketball, what is your favorite hobby? Singing. I love to sing whenever I get the chance.
If you could go one-on-one with anyone who would it be? Michael Jordan because he was the greatest player to ever play the game and I could learn many things from him.
If you had to compare your game to a current college or pro player who would it be? If I could compare my game to a professional player it would be Rajon Rondo. I love his court awareness and his ability to hustle every possession. Also, I love his aggressiveness and his passing game. If I had to compare my game to a college player it would be Skylar Diggins. I love her IQ of the game and being able to step up as a leader and take over the game when needed.
Who is your role model? My role models are my parents because they do everything they can to make sure I get what I need. They give me great advice when I need it, and I can always go to them when I need help. They make me become a better decision-maker and a better person.
What is the most important thing basketball fans should know about you? I love the game. I make sure to work harder than the next person and am never comfortable with just being average.
What is your favorite basketball moment so far? When my team won the Division IV state championship my freshman year. I think that’s what every high school player wants to achieve.
The King and I: LeBron James wishes he could sing as well as I can.
