Tara Lipinski's Memorable Moments
Tara Lipinski, Olympic figure skating gold medalist, commentator and fashion icon, celebrates her 32nd birthday today. We look back at five of our favorite moments starring the pint-sized star.
1. Golden Moment
Lipinski became a global superstar at just 15 years old when she beat fellow American Michelle Kwan to win the gold medal at the 1998 Nagano Olympics.
2. Are You Afraid of the Dark?
As any self-respecting child of the 1990s will remember, Lipinski guest-starred on an episode of "Are You Afraid of the Dark?" as an alien disguised as a typical teenage girl sent to Earth to stop a flesh-eating parasite. At least you can't accuse of her of being typecast.
3. The Big Lipinski
The Little Lipinski channeled "The Big Lebowski" for a skating routine on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon," complete with bathrobe and a White Russian in hand.

4. Sochi Darlings
Lipinski and fellow Olympic skater Johnny Weir joined forces at the Sochi Olympics, and the BFFs did not disappoint. The two instantly became the breakout stars of the Games thanks to their elaborate wardrobes, insightful commentary and social-media dominance. They since have provided fashion coverage for the Academy Awards and the Kentucky Derby.
5. Lunchtime Olympics
Shortly after returning from the Sochi Olympics, Lipinski and Weir teamed up again to provide top-notch commentary for the "30 Rock Lunchtime Figure Skating Olympics" on "Late Night with Seth Meyers."
