Angela and Mark Rypien
Just a guess, but most fathers wouldn't want their daughters going to work in lingerie. Sadly, though, if Angela Rypien wants to flaunt her throwing arm, she has to display other assets, too, in the Lingerie Football League. And if that's the case, Dad is all for it. As a longtime NFL QB and Super Bowl winner with the Redskins, Mark Rypien knows what it's like to own an arm that deserves showcasing. "At first he was skeptical," says Angela, 21. "But once he saw how seriously I was taking it, he was very supportive." No surprise there. Mark coached Angela's youth hockey and high school basketball teams. And last season, he attended all of her games with the Seattle Mist. Next season, she'll take snaps for the Baltimore Charm, and he'll help her learn the playbook. After all, Angela says, "He is my role model."
