"It was sports right out of the womb for me," says Carlee Roethlisberger. Dad Ken played quarterback and pitched for Georgia Tech. Mom Brenda played hoops at Northwest Missouri State. And you might have heard of older brother Ben. But living with a future Steeler wasn't easy for Carlee. "He was too rough, so my dad shot baskets or kicked the soccer ball with me," she says. In fact, Ken always made it clear that Carlee's success mattered as much as Ben's. The paternal nurturing helped lead her to a basketball career at Oklahoma (2007-11), where the 6-foot-1 forward appeared in 139 games (third-most in Big 12 history) and reached two Final Fours. For good measure, Carlee used a final year of eligibility to play volleyball and was the conference's 2011 Newcomer of the Year.
