TORONTO -- The Tampa Bay Rays refused to quit.
Jason Bartlett hit an RBI double in the 12th inning, capping the biggest comeback in Tampa Bay history, and the Rays erased an eight-run deficit to beat the Toronto Blue Jays 10-9 on Saturday."That was a great game for us," Rays slugger Carlos Pena said. • Tampa Bay won in the biggest comeback in franchise history, coming back from eight runs down in its longest game of the season. Toronto led 9-1 in the seventh before the Rays scored eight in the last three innings to tie the game.
• Jason Bartlett drove in the winning run in the 12th inning, his first career RBI after the 10th inning and second career winning RBI in extra innings.
• Carlos Pena homered and had four RBIs, his fifth game with at least four RBIs this season (second most in MLB).
• Rays starter David Price gets a no-decision despite allowing six earned runs and three homers in three innings pitched, the first time in his career he's allowed three home runs in one game. He's given up 11 homers in 11 starts this season, and is now 0-4 with an 8.20 ERA on the road.

Pena came in batting .133 (8 for 60) with one homer and four RBIs in July. Maddon said Pena will bat fifth or sixth for the time being. "I think he's pressing a little too hard and I want him to back off," Maddon said. ... Bautista had two outfield assists and leads the Blue Jays with seven.
