W: J. Danks (9-7)
L: A. Burnett (10-5)
CHICAGO -- No. 9 batter Jayson Nix stirred up his team's offense without even swinging the bat and helped the Chicago White Sox beat the New York Yankees for a third straight game.
"The chances of that happening are not very good," Nix said Saturday after he drew four walks -- two with the bases loaded -- in the White Sox's 14-4 victory."Baseball is crazy. You get walked four times and twice with the bases loaded. You get up in that situation to drive guys in, but you got to take what they give you."Fast Facts
• The 14 runs are the most for the White Sox against the Yankees since June 18, 2000 (a 17-4 win).
• Chicago has outscored New York 27-11 in winning the first three games of the series.
• The top two hitters in the White Sox lineup (Scott Podsednik and Gordon Beckham) each drove in four runs. The four RBIs tie a career high for Podsednik and set a career high for Beckham.
• A.J. Burnett gave up 10 hits for the first time in a Yankees uniform as his quality start streak ends at eight games.
