Three errors too much despite Marlins' 15th straight game with 10-plus hits
HOUSTON -- Michael Bourn was the Houston Astros' catalyst from his first at-bat against Florida on Wednesday night.
The leadoff man had three hits, two stolen bases and two runs scored in the Astros' 6-3 win over the Marlins. Bourn also made a dazzling catch in center field, helping the Astros win for the third time in nine games.Marlins' Hit Parade
The Marlins became the first NL team with 10-plus hits in 15 straight games since the 1929 Giants. The last team to go longer than 15 games was the 1925 Indians (18).

Marlins 1B Nick Johnson was out of the starting lineup for the second straight game to nurse a sore hamstring. ... The Astros announced that LHP Mike Hampton has a partially torn rotator cuff in his throwing shoulder. Hampton (7-10, 5.30 ERA) went on the 15-day DL on Tuesday and an MRI taken on Wednesday revealed the extent of the injury.
