San Fran votes to ban chewing tobacco

The city of San Francisco moved a step closer to banning chewing tobacco from sports playing fields in the city, including AT&T Park, with a unanimous vote by its Board of Supervisors today. If the board votes to approve the ordinance next week, it would take effect Jan. 1.
