Kurkjian: Puig's hamstring a concern
MLB

"For him to come out of the game last night, that was not a good sign. Hamstring's are really tricky ... and with the way that Puig runs the bases and plays the outfield, he's using his legs as much as about any player in the Major Leagues."

Dodgers evaluating Puig's injury

Yasiel Puig aggravated his hamstring injury on Friday, and the team hopes he can avoid a DL stint. Said manager Don Mattingly: "I don't know a whole lot right now and I don't know that it's too serious. We'll find out tomorrow."

Does Josh Hamilton have anything left?

ESPN's Tim Kurkjian on the Rangers being close to acquiring Hamilton: "The question is: Is he anywhere close to the great player that he was in 2010, when he had an OPS over a thousand? ... There's a real question whether he's a good player anymore."

Trading Hamilton could be mistake
MLB

"If Hamilton actually rebounds and goes back to being an effective player for the Rangers ... then the Angels will have doubled-down on their mistake, in failing to find a way to live with him and help him become a good player again." Buster Olney's column (Insider)

Rizzo chasing HBP record

Anthony Rizzo has been hit by a pitch 6 times this season, putting him within one of Shin-Soo Choo's April MLB record. “I don’t like getting hit,” Rizzo said recently. “But you get on base. If I get hit again, I get hit.”
