  1. FILE - In this May 22, 2014, file photo, Washington Nationals' Jayson Werth waits on the dugout steps to bat during the first inning of a baseball game against the Pittsburgh Pirates in Pittsburgh. Werth pleaded guilty Thursday, Jan. 28, 2014, to reckless driving and has been sentenced to five days in jail for driving 105 mph on the Capital Beltway. Werth was convicted last month in Fairfax County and sentenced to 10 days in jail, but appealed his conviction to Circuit Court. It is not unusual in Virginia for judges to impose short jail sentences in cases where speeds exceed 100 mph. He will serve his sentence on weekends to minimize disruption to his rehabilitation following shoulder surgery. (AP Photo/Gene J. Puskar, File)
