Rashad Hassan led Savannah State with 17 points, and Stephen Wilson and Patrick Hendley added 10 points apiece.

Preston Blackman scored on a layup and a 3-pointer to get the Tigers off to a quick start. They led 16-1 with 14:34 left in the first half and never played with less than a seven-point advantage for the rest of the way.
