JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. -- Freshman Lester Wilson scored a career-high 27 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lead East Tennessee State to a 94-46 rout of Milligan on Wednesday.

Wilson was 9 of 15 from the field -- including four 3-pointers -- and entered the game leading ETSU and ranked third in the Atlantic Sun in scoring at 17.5 points per game.

Milligan (3-4) scored the game's first three points but the lead was short-lived, as ETSU rattled off 11 straight to go ahead 11-3, then used a 17-6 run to expand its lead to 20 at the 6:03 mark.

ETSU (2-3) forced six turnovers and held Milligan to 3-of-11 shooting during the run.

The Buccaneers led 48-20 at the break behind a 59.4 percent (19 of 32) first-half shooting performance and extended its lead to as much as 54 points, 91-40, in the second half.

Tyler DeVault led Milligan with 10 points.
