GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Nicholas Paulos scored 26 points to lead UNC Greensboro to an 86-47 rout of Lees-McRae on Wednesday night in a nonconference mismatch.

The Spartans (3-10), who had lost five in a row and nine of their last 10 games, got healthy against Division II Lees-McRae. The winless Bobcats (0-11) had just one player in double figures: D.J. Brown, whose 15 points came on five 3-pointers.

At halftime, UNC Greensboro led just 35-25. The Spartans then went on a 21-7 run to open the second half and outscored Lees-McRae 51-22 after the break.

Paulos sizzled from beyond the 3-point arc. He shot 9 for 14 from the field, going 8 for 12 from long range. Kayel Locke was the other Spartan in double figures with 14 points.

UNC Greensboro hit 33 of 63 shots from the field, while the Bobcats were just 16 of 54 from the floor.
