Stanton Kidd scored 15 points and Emanuel Chapman had nine assists for the Eagles (16-7, 9-0 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference), who last won 10 straight in the 1995-96 season, when current coach LeVelle Morton led them to a 20-7 record.

Muhammad Abdul-Aleem had 13 points and Jomari Bradshaw 11 for Florida A&M (6-17, 3-6), losers of three straight. The Rattlers lost to the Eagles 85-62 on Jan. 12.

The Eagles led 23-18 at halftime, but the Rattlers took a 31-30 lead on Bradshaw's 3-pointer at 9:33. The Eagles went ahead for good, 38-36, on Copeland's dunk at the 6:04 mark and stretched it to 46-36 on two free throws by Ingram with 1:54 remaining. Ingram made 9 of 11 at the line.
