Carey, who was 12-of-22 shooting with eight 3-pointers, set his previous high of 31 points in Longwood's last game, a 76-61 win over Radford.John Caleb Sanders, who had 24 points and 10 assists for Liberty (9-19, 5-9 Big South Conference), put the Flames ahead 34-33 on his free throw with 2:54 left in the opening frame. But Carey answered with a trey, sparking a 14-4 half-spanning spurt for Longwood (6-22, 3-11).Dublin capped the run with a layup 5 minutes into the second half for a 60-45 Lancers lead.
