HANOVER, N.H. -- Gabas Maldunas scored a career-high 28 points and Dartmouth took advantage of injury-ravaged Cornell in a 76-62 victory Friday night.

Maldunas was 9-of-14 shooting, 10-of-12 shooting foul shots and also grabbed eight rebounds for the Big Green (8-19, 4-9 Ivy League), which has won two of three after dropping five straight.

For the third straight game, Cornell (13-17, 5-8) was without starters Shonn Miller, Johnathan Gray and Devin Cherry. Errick Peck paced the Big Red with 26 points and Nolan Cressler hit three 3-pointers en route to 14 points.

The loss was Cornell's fifth straight.

The Big Green shot 52.1 percent (25 of 48) and made 22 of 26 foul shots.

Dartmouth's win evens the schools at 103-103 in a rivalry that dates back to the 1900-01 season. Cornell had won 17 of the past 19 in the series, including a 79-56 win on Feb. 10.
