Research Notes
After starting the season 17-7 and being in the BPI Top 30, Kentucky finishes SEC play just 4-4 after losing Nerlens Noel. Even after accounting for the tougher schedule they played without him, some of the large losses dragged their BPI in that span down to 57.1, which would rank 136th in D-I since February 13th (the day after Noel went down). How the committee weighs these different parts of the Wildcats' resume will play a large part in determining whether or not they make the tournament.
