Around Champ Week
MVP: Freshman Damyean Dotson showed up in the biggest game of his career. He finished with 23 points (8-for-12), three rebounds and two steals.
X factor: The Billikens couldn't close the gap in the second half, because they just couldn't buy a 3-pointer when they needed one. They went 3-for-21 from beyond the arc.
That was ... surprising, again: Saint Louis is one of the top defensive teams in the country, but the Billikens couldn't keep up with an Oregon squad that should not have been a 12-seed.
