HIGH POINT, N.C. -- John Brown shot 10-of-15 from the field and scored 22 points as High Point beat Wofford 66-56 on Sunday.
The Panthers (3-2) began the game on an 11-2 run and never trailed. High Point opened the second half on a 12-4 run to extend its lead to 43-31. The closest Wofford (1-4) got after that was within 6 points.
Wofford shot just 33.3 percent from the floor and made only 11 of 20 free throws. The Terriers have yet to score more than 57 points against a Division I opponent this season in four games against such opponents. Spencer Collins led the Terriers with 13 points.
