HAMILTON, N.Y. -- Murphy Burnatowski was 6-of-11 on 3-pointers and scored 24 points as Colgate defeated St. Francis 81-64 on Saturday.
Colgate (2-2) was up by 6 early in the second half when it went on a 15-2 run to extend its lead to 54-35. St. Francis (1-5) cut the deficit to 62-55 with 5:33 to play but the Raiders scored the game's next 10 points en route to their 17-point victory. It was Colgate's second straight win after losing its first two games to Wake Forest and Syracuse.
Colgate shot 58.2 percent from the field and was 12-of-21 from beyond the 3-point arc.
Ben Millaud-Meunier was 4-of-7 on 3-pointers and led the Red Flash with 17 points. St. Francis was 11-of-26 from beyond the 3-point arc.
