Daniel Camps came off the bench for the Norse and was the only teammate to score in double digits with 11 points. Northern Kentucky (0-3) attempted 28 3-pointers but made just 3 (10.7 percent).

The Norse had 21 offensive rebounds, compared to 8 for San Diego, but only made 11 points on second-chance shots. The Toreros grabbed 36 defensive rebounds and Northern Kentucky had 19.
