OREM, Utah -- Ben Aird scored 20 points and led six players in double-figure scoring as Utah Valley rolled past NAIA Haskell Indian Nations, 103-64 Friday night.
Utah Valley raced to a 16-4 lead over the first five minutes and held an 18-point advantage at intermission.
Hayes Garrity had 19 points on 6 of 10 shooting off the bench for the Wolverines (5-6). Zach Nelson and Keawe Enos had 16 and 14 points, respectively for Utah Valley while Mitch Bruneel added 12 and Holton Hunsaker, the WAC Player of the Week after scoring 21 points in a loss to Utah State and 14 in a win over Weber State last week, added 11.
Freshman point guard Dillion Thompson scored 15 points off the bench for the Fighting Indians from Lawrence, Kan., with Stand Lovato contributing 14.
The win was Utah Valley's third in three meetings with Haskell Indian Nations.
