LAS CRUCES, N.M. -- Sim Bhullar scored 22 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to lead a balanced offense as New Mexico State rolled by Grand Canyon 81-57 on Thursday.
Kevin Aronis and Daniel Mullings added 17 apiece and Tshilidzi Nephawe had 15 for New Mexico State (23-9, 12-4 Western Athletic Conference).The Aggies closed the first half on a 12-2 run for a 38-27 halftime lead. New Mexico State kept the momentum rolling after the break, opening the second half on a 12-4 run to grab a 50-31 advantage. Grand Canyon (14-14, 9-6) trailed by double digits the rest of the way.Bhullar was 10 of 13 from the field and had five assists. He also secured seven offensive rebounds as the Aggies out-rebounded Grand Canyon 51-31.Killian Larson had 13 points and 17 rebounds to lead the Antelopes. Jeremy Adams tied his career high with 14 points and Jerome Garrison had 10.
