COOKEVILLE, Tenn. -- Austin Arians scored 17 points Saturday night and Milwaukee came from behind to beat Tennessee Tech 70-63.

Tennessee Tech (3-4) led 28-24 at halftime, but Milwaukee (5-2) tied it at 28 at 18:49 in the second period on a layup by Kyle Kelm, took the lead on a free throw by Matt Tiby, led by as many as 12 points and held off the Golden Eagles down the stretch.

Arians had a big second half and scored three 3-pointers. Tiby and Kyle Kelm each scored 14 points, but Tiby was called for two technical fouls and ejected. Mitch Roelke sank four free throws in the final 16 seconds to keep the Golden Eagles at bay.

Tennessee Tech shot poorly in the first half and finished 31.1 percent from the field compared with Milwaukee's 42 percent.

Dwan Caldwell scored 13 points for the Golden Eagles and Ty Allen added 12.
