BOISE, Idaho -- Ryan Watkins recorded his ninth double-double of the season, and Boise State made nine 3-point shots in dominating San Jose State 76-55 on Saturday.

Watkins finished with 18 points and 16 rebounds for the Broncos (14-6, 4-3 Mountain West). He made 7-of-12 shots from the field and blocked three shots. Watkins was joined in double figures by Derrick Marks (19), Mikey Thompson (11) and Anthony Drmic (10). Thompson also finished with a game-high five assists.

Drmic scored all 10 of his points in the first half. He opened the game with a free throw, then hit 3-pointers on three consecutive Bronco possessions to stretch a 14-9 lead to 23-11 with 12:11 left. The Broncos didn't commit a first-half turnover and made 7-of-15 shots from 3-point range in building a 48-26 halftime lead.

The Broncos finished the game 9-of-25 from 3-point range to win for the third time in four games. Boise State finished the game with a season-low four turnovers.

San Jose State (6-14, 0-8) lost its eighth game in a row and still is looking for its first win as a member of the Mountain West Conference. The Spartans committed 10 first-half turnovers and never got closer than 15 points after halftime. San Jose State finished with just two assists in the game and shot 35.6 percent from the field (16 of 45).

Jalen James led San Jose State with 12 points. Devante Wilson and Chris Cunningham finished with 10 apiece. The loss spoiled the homecoming of first-year coach Dave Wojcik, who spent the past three seasons as an assistant/associate head coach at Boise State.
