PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- Sean McGonagill hit back-to-back 3-pointers with less than five minutes remaining to help Brown pull away and defeat Pennsylvania 62-55 on Saturday night.

Penn led 51-47 with 4:45 left before McGonagill's two treys sparked a 15-4 run to give the Bears the win. Steven Spieth scored six of his 12 points during the span.

Cedric Kuakumensah had 18 points, 10 rebounds and two blocks to lead Brown (13-9, 5-3 Ivy League), which is two games back of Yale for the top spot in the standings. McGonagill finished with 15 points, including four 3-pointers, and is now just five treys shy of becoming Brown's all-time career 3-point leader.

Darien Nelson-Henry scored 20 points on 9-of-20 shooting to lead Penn (6-15, 3-4), which has lost two straight. Tony Hicks added 16 points with five assists.
