DAYTON, Ohio -- Devin Oliver scored 15 points and pulled down nine rebounds to lead Dayton to a dominating 84-58 win over Central Michigan Saturday night.

Dayton (8-2) shot a blistering 50 percent in the first half on their way to a 38-24 lead. Five different Flyers scored during a 21-7 run to close the half.

Central Michigan (6-4) struggles continued in the second half, and the Chippewas struggled to get stops. Dayton finished the game shooting 50.9 percent from the field.

Chris Fowler hit a pair of free throws for the Chippewas to cut the lead to 59-49 with 9:08 remaining, but Dayton responded with a 6-0 run.

The Flyers erased all doubt with a 17-4 run in the last four minutes.

Dyshawn Pierre scored 15 while Jalen Robinson added 12 points to go with his six rebounds.

Fowler was Central Michigan's lone bright spot, scoring 20 points and dishing five assists.
