STONY BROOK, N.Y. -- Dave Coley tied a season-high by scoring 20 points while leading Stony Brook to a 67-47 victory over Binghamton Wednesday night.

Coley scored 20 points in the Seawolves' last game, a win over Hartford on Jan. 12.

Marlon Beck's three-point play with 7:35 left in the first half gave Binghamton (4-13, 1/3 America East) an 18-17 lead. But Carson Puriefoy's jumper sparked a 14-0 run by Stony Brook and his 3-pointer about 5 minutes later capped the spurt. The Seawolves took a 37-23 lead into the break led by at least 13 the rest of the way.

Stony Brook (11-6, 3-0) out-rebounded the Bearcats 38-20 while limiting Binghamton to 31.8 percent (14 of 44) shooting.

Eric McAlister scored 15 points and Jameel Warney added 13 and nine rebounds. Ahmad Walker had a career-high five steals.

Yosef Yacob paced Binghamton with 14 points
