BANGOR, Maine -- Till Gloger hit a pair of free throws with seven seconds left to ice Maine's 73-69 win over New Hampshire and lock up the No. 7 seed into the America East Conference tournament.
The Black Bears (6-22) finished the regular season tied with New Hampshire, each with a 4-12 conference record. Maine claims the higher seed by sweeping the season series.Gloger, who pulled down 14 rebounds, and Troy Reid-Knight each scored 15 points to lead Maine, with Marko Pirovic and Shaun Lawton adding 13 and 12 points, respectively.Jordon Bronner pumped in 24 points to lead the Wildcats, drilling 5 of 8 from behind the arc.
