His feat was a first in America East tournament history.

Regular season champion Vermont (22-9) was led by Candon Rusin and Clancy Rugg with 15 apiece. Sandro Carissimo and Luke Apfeld had 12 each for the Catamounts.

Vermont has now won 11 straight and 18 of its last 19 games.
