ARNOTT CONQUERS PAST DEMONS
The Predators beat the Devils in a shootout after the teams played to a 2-2 deadlock. Zach Parise scored both goals for New Jersey and former Devil Jason Arnott tallied both goals for Nashville. Arnott was the first exorcised Devil to score two goals in a game against New Jersey since Bill Guerin had a pair of goals for the Islanders in their 3-1 win at the Meadowlands on Jan. 16, 2008.
