In January 2012, the facility was renamed Tampa Bay Times Forum, in keeping with the renaming of the St. Petersburg Times. The arena was known as the Ice Palace from 1996 to 2002, when naming rights were sold to the St. Petersburg Times newspaper. The Lightning won its only Stanley Cup championship in the building in 2004. The arena offers luxurious and unique fan experiences throughout the building, including the Ice Box, a section where fans can sit between the team benches, all-inclusive clubs, luxury suites, private party areas and more. Prices for each experience vary. The arena has held several major events, including the 1999 NHL All-Star Game, World Wrestling Federation, the 2003 first- and second-round games NCAA men's basketball tournament and the 2008 women's basketball Final Four. In 2012, the arena will host the NCAA Frozen Four hockey championships.
