Stanford still No. 1 ahead of UConn
Stanford remains No. 1 in The Associated Press women's basketball poll, narrowly ahead of Connecticut.
The Cardinal had 22 first-place votes Monday, and UConn had 17. Baylor received the other one. Stanford easily won its two games this week, routing UC Davis and Gonzaga.

Duke and Notre Dame are fourth and fifth. The Irish host the Lady Bears on Wednesday night in a rematch of last season's NCAA championship game.
UConn hosts ninth-ranked Maryland on Monday night.
The Irish are followed by Georgia, Kentucky and Louisville. Penn State fell four spots to 10th after losing to Miami. The Hurricanes re-entered the poll at No. 23. Florida State also came into the Top 25 at No. 24.
St. John's and West Virginia fell out. The Red Storm, who were 17th last week, lost to Boston University on Saturday.
